I'm really excited about the progress of my latest series of paintings.

I'm so gratful and feel so blessed that I've been given the opportunity to paint. I remember the years that I yearned for this kind of time and chance to do what I was born to do.

God has been so good to me and I thank God for everything that's been coming to me in my life. There have been times in my life I almost gave up on my dream to be a painter. For twelve years I used crack cocaine and I was totally out there. I even painted a couple paintings while I was using but the drive wasn't there. I was even with a woman who was my parnter who didn't like my work. Or was incapable of voicing what she felt about my work. She never encouraged me to paint or follow my dreams. I was with her for ten years and I didn't paint not one time while we were together.
I felt I had lost my voice and my dream while I was with her.

I'm now in a great place where I can and am doing what I've always wanted to since a child. I get to play with paint.....lol. It's a great place to be. I love my life. I'm single and I have two dogs and I live by myself and I don't have to consider any ones needs or wants. I get to do me all day and night long.

I guess what I'm saying today is never give up on your dreams. My situation isn't perfect but I'm very happy.
