So I'm working on a face and it's not working

I just realized this is the first painting I've done in awhile and I'm having some problems. I don't know what to do with it. I tried letting my brush do the work and I'm in trouble.
Let's see what I can do today to get me out of this.......? I'm might try to see if I can make some repairs or I might just have to start over.
I don't want to start over, I want to make this one right. It's always a challenge to get right instead of starting over.
