Stumped again.......I'm not going to let anything stop me!!!!!
I'm facing another day without painting because I can't seemed to get pass this painting number #5. At first the brick wall was a problem now it's the
figure that's giving me a problem. I painted the other paintings without any hesitation but now I'm here again with just this one I can't seem to get around the feeling that it's not right. Maybe I'm not suppose to paint it. It's so hard to think that I'm not suppose to paint it. It such a great repensational piece of me outside in an alley smoking crack behind a garbage dumpster.
I don't know what to do.......I'm just going to push through and paint it tomorrow whether it's right or not. I have to trust my instinct. I know the subject and I know how to paint so what's the problem. I still don't know....maybe I don't want to make any errors.....that's crazy because error's are apart of the process.
I'm sitting looking at the start of this painting and I don't have a clue how to get to the end of it. I've already sketched it out so I do know the idirection I want to go with it. But...........I'm going trust my hands and let the brush do the work.
I MUST CONCENTRATE ON THE FEELINGS I FELT WHEN I WAS OUT IN THAT ALLEY GETTING HIGH.
That's the approach I'll take.
Ok that's it!!!!
Talk to you soon.
